Evelyn Kallansee and Declan Sinnott

Classy musical duo Evelyn Kallansee and Declan Sinnott will be making their second visit to The Seantí.

Declan Sinnott is a big name in the Irish music scene, having gained international success with Mary Black, for whom he produced six albums.

He was her producer, guitarist and musical director and additionally worked with Christy Moore for 20 years.

Evelyn Kallansee was born on the tropical island of Curaçao, grew up in the Netherlands and now lives in Co. Kerry.

She has gone from singing in musicals like Les Misérables to touring worldwide with a acid jazz band, Tristan.

She has sang vocals for famous Dutch singers and international stars alike, such as Johnny Logan, Tony Hadley (Spandau Ballet) and Jocelyn Brown.

Upon her arrival to Ireland in 2020, she met Declan, sparking the beginning of a new life in music.

Within a few weeks of meeting, the pair started writing together and the result is an album of beautiful and uplifting songs, with Declan building the tracks around Evelyn’s voice.

The pair shot a number of music videos at the time to accompany the tracks.

The upcoming gig at The Seantí takes place on September 12.
