Happy times and fond memories recalled at Waterford school 50th reunion

Good times and fond memories were recalled in Waterford recently when former school friends held a 50th anniversary class reunion.
The Presentation Convent Waterford class of 1976, 50th Anniversary School Reunion, was held in the Waterford Marina Hotel.
The event took place on the evening of Friday, February 27.
One of those in attendance said it was a very enjoyable event and a wonderful time was had by everyone in attendance.
"A wonderful time was enjoyed by all at the 50th anniversary of the class of 1976 of the Presentation Convent," she said.
The former schoolmates travelled from all around Ireland to attend the event and one of those who was there on the night came all the way from France for what was a very special occasion.
"Throughout the night, conversation flowed easily as guests reminisced about their school days and it was evident that the bond formed during those years remains strong to this day," said one of the former Pres students.
"Although their paths have since diverged and they have each built their own lives, the camaraderie was still very much alive on the night," she added.
