Gardaí issue warning about cigarettes following gorse fire in Waterford

Waterford gardaí have issued a warning on cigarette disposal, following a gorse fire in Tramore this morning.
In a post on social media, gardaí are asking the public to be mindful of dry vegetation and to dispose of cigarettes in bins.
"Tramore Gardaí and Tramore Fire Service dealing with gorse fire on the Doneraile this morning.
"With the fine weather, vegetation is very dry. Please be extra careful when disposing of any cigarettes - use appropriate bins," wrote the gardaí.
