Gardaí catch speeding motorists in County Waterford

The Gardaí in Waterford recently observed a number of motorists travelling at various speeds in Lemybrien.

In an online post on social media they noted: 'Regardless of the time of day, the speed limits are set. Gardai operate 24/7, in all weather.'

'Motorists in Lemybrien on the N25 found this out first hand last night, by Gardaí attached to Kilmacthomas Garda Station,' the Gardaí said in a post yesterday, Sunday, August 30. 

The checkpoint was carried out at 3am.

The Gardaí reiterated their ongoing advice to motorists: "Slow down, arrive alive.'
