Gardaí arrest teenager in connection with murder of Waterford man

Gardaí have arrested a man in connection with their investigation into the alleged murder of Waterford man Ian Walsh.
Gardaí are continuing to investigate all the circumstances surrounding the discovery of Mr Walsh's body in Carrick-On-Suir, Co. Tipperary, on Monday, August 4.
This morning, Wednesday, August 20, Gardaí arrested an adult male, aged in his late teens, in relation to the investigation into the death of the rail worker from the Kilcohan area of Waterford city.
The male is currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 at a Garda Station in the Clare-Tipperary Division.
Investigations are ongoing.
