Funeral details announced for N25 victim

Funeral details have been announced for the man who died in the tragic collision on the N25 in Waterford.
Richard 'Wally' Prendergast died on the N25 between Youghal and Dungarvan at Kinsalebeg.
The collision involved a bus carrying 20 passengers and a vehicle being driven by Mr. Prendergast and occurred shortly before 8pm on Sunday night, September 20.
The deceased, aged in his mid-60's, was pronounced dead on the scene.
A tribute to Mr. Prendergast has been shared on rip.ie: "Richard (Wally) beloved husband of Caroline, father to Marcus, William, John and Patrick, father-in-law to Jessica, Aisling, Claire and Lisa, adored grandad (ya ya) of Josie, Emily, Eve, Ruadhán, Éaladh, Alba and Haley, brother of Billy, Sheila and Bernadette. He will be dearly missed by his heartbroken wife, children, grandchildren, sisters, brother, nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends."
A reposal will be held at Egans Funeral Home in Greencloyne, Youghal this Wednesday evening between 5pm to 6.30pm.
Requiem Mass will take place tomorrow morning at 11am at St. Cronan's Church, Clashmore followed by burial in the adjoining graveyard.
