The emergency services are currently at the scene of a serious road traffic incident on the Tramore road in Waterford.
The incident is believed to have occurred in the vicinity of Robin Hill and there are Garda diversions in place to divert traffic away from the accident scene.
It's believed there were two vehicles involved and there are unconfirmed reports of possible fatalities.
Gardaí, ambulance crews, and fire services members arrived at the scene shortly after the incident occurred and the road closure is causing delays for motorists travelling through the area.
Motorists are advised to avoid the Ballyksinsella Crossroads/ Pickardstown Cross areas if possible and to adhere to all traffic control measures in place.
