Drone operation launched in ongoing Waterford City missing person search

The Irish Coast Guard are operating a drone in Waterford City as part of an operation to find a missing person.

Kilmore Quay coast guard unit said on social media:

"Our drone team are currently engaged in search operations over the last two days for a missing person at Waterford City with our colleagues from Dunmore East Coast Guard . Other agencies on scene include Waterford City River Rescue CRBI and Waterford Marine Search and Rescue . This search operation is on going."
