Tramore’s Lafcadio Hearne Japanese Garden in Tramore will be in the spotlight on RTÉ’s Nationwide tonight (Wednesday, May 7).
The gardens reflect the life and extensive wanderings of Irish/Greek writer Patrick Lafcadio Hearn, who grew up in Ireland, and whose life journey embraced several parts of the world.
It is at the gardens that a collaboration began between local photographer and print artist, Margaret O’Brien Moran and poet, Mark Roper.
With a passion for the environment and nature, these gardens were a perfect inspiration for them both and Nationwide went along to meet them there.
The episode airs tonight on RTÉ One at 7pm.
