Crime detected at local summer spots

Gardaí in Waterford have been taking part in a high-visibility crime prevention operation, Operation Coinním.

A statement from An Garda Siochana says: “Numerous offences have been detected so far as we target anti-social behaviour, thefts from vehicles, criminal damage and any other crime associated with popular and busy summer locations.” 

The operation is taking place along coastal and seasonal recreation areas in the Eastern Region to ensure locals and visitors have a safe summer.
