At the latest Plenary Council meeting, Councillor Seamus Ryan (Labour) took the time to ask about an update on a mobile library for Waterford.
Getting a mobile library for Co Waterford is something that Cllr Ryan has raised at almost every meeting, as a former librarian himself it's something he's passionate about.
"People will be fed up of me raising this, but the last Council got approval for a mobile library, which was great news, can I ask where’s that project at now, and when are we likely to see the mobile library in place?" asked Cllr Ryan.
The executive did not have any update at this point for Cllr Ryan, but said, "we will certainly ensure we have it for the next plenary meeting for you.”
Cllr Ryan asked cheekily with a grin for clarification on the response as to whether it will mean he receives an update on the mobile library, or the mobile library. It will be an update, much to his dismay.
