For anyone who has ever dreamt of being a circus performer or learning some of the tricks of the trace a very special event due to take place in Waterford City next month could be of huge interest.
An outdoor circus skills workshop will take place in the city next month.
The event will take place on Thursday, September 8, in O'Connell Street. It will be held from 1pm to 5pm and is being organised in conjunction with this years Waterford Harvest Festival.
The workshop will be run on a 'come and have a go' basis and those participating will get to learn about such circus skills as juggling, riding a unicycle, plate spinning, diabolo, flowersticks and more.
The skills will be taught by experienced and expert teachers. The organisers said the workshop will be a fun-filled event for people of all ages to learn the tricks of the circus.
