A recent cemetary mass in a rural area of County Waterford was very well attended, to the delight of the committee involved.

The Mass was celebrated in the peaceful and tranquil setting of Knockboy Graveyard.

The Knockboy Graveyard Committee expressed sincere gratitude to Fr. Brendan Crowley PP for celebrating the annual graveyard Mass, the local choir and Jim McGrath and Mattie Fahy for providing the music.

Special thanks was also extended to Mossie Cliffe, Áine Walsh, Margaret Cliffe, Marina Sanders, Kevin Gleeson and Michael Kirwan for their assistance.

"We are very grateful to the ladies who baked the delicious buns and cakes, to Drohan Funeral Directors for the use of their microphones, to the Touraneena Community Centre and to the O’Grady Brothers for all their help throughout the year," said one of those involved.

"Thank you to everyone who contributed in any way."
