A call has gone out locally in County Waterford ahead of a village clean up due to take place on Easter Monday, April 21.
The event will take place in and around the general Stradbally area and the organisers are encouraging as many local people as possible to get involved.
The 'Clean Up The Commeraghs' initiative will begin at 10am outside Veale's Supermarket in Stradbally.
All help will be welcomed and bags, gloves and litter pickers will be distributed to those participating.
The organisers are very appreciative of the support such initiatives receive each year and they are encouraging people to get involved again this year.
Areas to clean up will be allocated on the day and the Council yard in Lemybrien will also be open.
