Busy Waterford City road to close for two days for essential works

Waterford City and County Council is advising the public that Barrack Street is to be closed for two days.
The closure is to facilitate essential roadworks and will take place Monday and Tuesday, August 11 and 12, between 8am and 6pm.
Emergency and local access will be facilitated, and the public is advised to follow any signage in place.
The section of road to close is between the junction of Newport Terrace and Shortcourse.
