The Gardaí in County Waterford are currently investigating a number of incidents in the county that saw valuable items taken following break-ins to cars and property.

A spokesperson for the Gardaí said that overnight between Saturday and Sunday afternoon, December 6 and 7, a number of items were stolen from Knocknagranagh, in Dungarvan.

The items taken included a silver, galvanized 8ft by 5ft double-axle Ivor Williams trailer, a red petrol honda hydraulic power pack and a green block splitter.

"If you have any information in relation to these items please contact Unit B at Dungarvan Garda Station on 058 64800," said the Garda spokesperson.

"Staying in the west of the county, we had another theft of a power washer similar to last week’s thefts," said the spokesperson.

The power washer was taken sometime overnight between Tuesday, December 9 and the following day. 

"This was taken from a milking pallor in Knockaneris, in Clashmore, in the west of the county," said the Garda.

"It was a Yamaha Diesel Power Washer, and the tank of the unit was painted cream with a steel frame," she added.

The Gardaí in Tallow are investigating this theft.

"If you have been offered these items for sale or can assist with the investigation, please report it," said the spokesperson.

The Gardaí are also investigating another incident, that occurred in Ballinroad in Dungarvan.

In that incident a vehicle was ransacked on Wednesday, December 10, between the hours of 3.30am and 6.21am, when the was parked overnight. 

"We would like to remind people to ensure your vehicle is locked, and if you observe (anything suspicious) or receive any alert overnight on video doorbells, please contact your local Garda Station," said the spokesperson.

Another vehicle was broken into between Friday, December 5 and Monday, December 8, Rockfield, Cappagh.

The Garda spokesperson said that in that incident a number of items were stolen including a Red coloured, Honda Welder Generator, two wildlife Suntech cameras, a Hitachi 4.5” angle grinder and an Oxy has cycler with cutting torches. They were stolen from a site and are of significant loss to the owner.
