Brand new 1,000 seat venue announced for Winterval 2026

A new 1,000 capacity venue, 'The Hive', has been announced for Winterval 2026.

The venue will host a series of comedy and live music performances throughout the festival season.

Festival organisers say the venue is designed to provide a comfortable and vibrant entertainment space

It will be heated, seated and fully floored. It will also feature a separate foyer and bar tent.

"The Hive will bring an expanded programme of high-quality comedy and music acts to the Winterval line-up, offering visitors even more reasons to spend an evening at Ireland’s favourite Christmas festival" a spokesperson said.

Festival organisers say the new venue will play a key role in enhancing Winterval’s evening entertainment offering and providing a dedicated space for large-scale performances during the festive period.
