Appeal made for missing dog in Waterford

Kylie went missing at Woodstown Beach in Waterford on Saturday, April 24.

An appeal has been made for help from the public in tracing the whereabouts of a dog that went missing at the weekend.

In an online post the owner's of adopted dog, 'Kylie', said she went missing at Woodstown Beach on Saturday, April 24

"Kylie has had a hard life in a breeding farm and is afraid of people," noted the owners in their post.

With that in mind she is unlikely to come to people if approached.

"It’s likely she’s hid in bushes or small hollows," they added.

Kylie is brown and white in colour and is a springer spaniel.

Her head is fully brown and she has a spot of white on her nose. She also has a brown tail and has freckles.

When last seek she was wearing a blue harness and a pink collar.

If anyone has seen her or if they think they might know of her whereabouts they are asked to contact 087 6247526.

"Kylie is sadly missed by her family - we want her home," added the owners.
