Appeal made as music event sign stolen in Waterford
One of the posters promoting the event was stolen from the airport road.
An online appeal has been made for the return of a roadside side promoting a music event in Waterford.
In an online post on its Facebook page, the Haven Hotel in Dubmore East asked that the person who robbed their brand new Sundown sign - that was displayed at the start of the airport road - to have it returned.
Whoever took the sign also took the pallet that it was attached to.
"We have full permission from the land owner to advertise there," noted the hotel in its post.
They also asked by theirs was the only sign that was taken.
"If anyone happens to come across our sign please let us know as these signs are not cheap to print and would really appreciate it back," they said in the post.
"There’s a drink on us for anyone who can find it," they added.
The music event will take place over the weekend of August 28, 29 and 30.
