A man in his 40s has been arrested after €3.75 million of cocaine was seized at Rosslare, Europort.

Wexford gardaí said on social media that on Monday, December 22, Revenue officers searched a vehicle that arrived by ferry.

The officers found and seized 55.3kg of suspected cocaine, estimated to be valued at €3,747,000.

A man in his 40s was arrested and is currently detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 at a Garda Station in Co. Wexford.

Gardaí say investigations are ongoing.
