603 adults and children were waiting 18 months for in-patient treatment at UHW.
603 people, including 38 children, are waiting 18 months or longer for in-patient treatment at University Hospital Waterford.
Over 3,600 people were reported waiting between zero to 6 months for in-patient treatment. The figure includes 219 children.
The figures come from a new report by the National Treatment Purchase Fund (NTPF).
Under the category of inpatients/ day patient care, as of July 30 this year 5,689 adults and 360 children have been waiting between zero to 18 months for treatment.
565 adults and 38 children have been waiting more than 18 months for day patient care.
529 adults and 49 children waited 12 to 18 months for similar care.
1,162 adults and 54 children waited between 6 to 12 months.
