Waterford City and County Council have reported a 2. 58% gender pay gap for 2024. The report, which was published recently, showed the median rate of pay was 5. 48% higher for women than men.

The median hourly earnings in 2022 for men were €20.11, which compares with median hourly earnings for women of €19.00.
