The 16-year-old has reached a pre-agreement with the Gunners which will turn into a professional contract when he turns 17 on December 31.

The Gunners have already suffered 28 injuries so far this term, which is among the highest in the Premier League.

The midfielder made his first Premier League appearance aged 15 years and 234 days.
