The singer and campaigner has revealed details of a conversation with Taoiseach Micheál Martin about the prospect of an election run.

He said he has a ‘simply outstanding medical team looking after me’.

The Fine Gael leader said it is his and his party’s aspiration for there to be a united Ireland, but it is not a priority for him.
