Noel Campion was shot dead as he was riding as a back passenger on a motorbike at Thomondgate in Limerick City - close to St Munchin's Church.

Darragh Quinlivan had originally been charged with the murder of Mr Campion (35) on the northside of Limerick city on April 26th, 2007.

Noel Campion was shot dead at Thomondgate in Limerick City as he was riding as a pillion passenger on a motorbike.

The charge sheet in the case states that Mr Quinlivan did allegedly murder Mr Campion at the junction of the High Road and the L1066, Thomondgate, Limerick, on April 26th, 2007.
