Sinn Féin MLA Carál Ní Chuilín told the committee she had ‘nothing to declare’

The Sinn Féin leader said she has written to the teenager and his mother ‘offering a full, unequivocal and sincere apology’.

Northern Ireland’s First Minister had previously stated party records showed the teenager was 17 when the texts were sent.

The party said the police had been informed after the incident at Belfast City Hall.
