The drugs were discovered during searches at two homes in the Roscam and Castlepark areas on Saturday.

Gardaí searched a house on the eastern side of Galway City on Thursday, and arrested a man and woman, both in their 20s.

The vehicle used to flee the scene was intercepted by Gardaí a short distance away from the premises and four men in their 20s were arrested
