Judge Daly said that during the first unprovoked attack in June 2023, Woodland “followed” the woman, “knocked her to the ground, pulled down her tracksuit bottoms and bit her on her rear”.

When gardaí raided Willie Woodland’s home on September 3rd, 2024, they found a loaded machine gun, 18 rounds of ammunition, €6,000 worth of cocaine and cannabis, and €1,000 cash.

Mr Woodland did not speak during the brief court hearing and no evidence of the allegations was heard.
