Young people from across Waterford were celebrated last week for their contribution to the local community through volunteerism, inspiring initiatives and personal triumphs.

The Garda Youth Awards were presented at a reception in Waterfordy's City Hall earlier this year. The recognised the major achievements of young people from around the city and county within their local communities.
