Eva Osborne535 admitted patients were waiting for beds on Wednesday morning, according to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation (INMO).

84 patients are waiting for beds in University Hospital Limerick, with 36 of these in the emergency department and 48 in wards elsewhere.

At University Hospital Limerick, 85 patients are waiting for beds. 43 of these are in the emergency department, with 42 in wards elsewhere in the hospital.

That is an increase of 57 on on Tuesday's figures.
