The Waterford City office of the Minister for Mental Health and Older People was sprayed with graffiti in the early hours on Thursday.

Cork City Councillor Mary Rose Desmond said it was "shocking to think that any public representative, or anybody at all in society, would have to close their premises for safety reasons"
