Freya Tobin of Lynch Terrace in Newcastle was due to start first year in a local secondary school next September.

Michael Laffan (66) from Willow Bank, The Slopes, Monkstown, Co Dublin died at St Vincent’s University Hospital in Dublin on January 5th 2022.

He was named on Thursday as Valerri Strunhar.

Stephen O’Callaghan from Ashburton Hill, Montenotte in Cork ran in to the sea in an attempt to save a group of children at around 3pm last Friday.

The youngster was resuscitated on Tuesday afternoon after being pulled out of the water by lifeguards who initially assisted him before emergency responders took over.

The event was taking place in Teelin Bay when the incident occurred

The 72-year-old was pronounced dead on Wednesday afternoon

Dareen Fontanilla (25) from Liffey Terrace, Ballyowen, Lucan, Co Dublin, was pronounced dead at Beaumont Hospital in Dublin on June 3rd 2021.

The boy was transported from the scene to University Hospital Limerick, where he later died.
