Curraghmore is now closed for the season and will reopen in May 2026.
Until then, thank you for being part of our story — we look forward to welcoming you back soon.

A massive well done to our Ladies Football Team on their County Final Win.
Junior B Champions 2025 Full Time Score Portlaw 3-8 Gaultier 3-4 Congratulations girls, well deserved win.
Hon the Village. Everyone is so proud of your achievement.

Friday, we received delivery of our stand seating and is the latest improvement to the facilities at the paddock.
None of these improvements would be possible without the support of the monthly draw, which is our main income source and we thank everyone for their continued support.
We would also like to acknowledge the support from Cllr Declan Clune, who contributed to the cost of the seating via his councillor discretionary fund.
Portlaw 8-0 piltown Our girls had a very convincing win over a young Piltown team this afternoon.
Our girls scored some lovely goals and played nice football..
That's two wins from two now from this great group of girls. Let's keep it going, girls and keep the confidence.
Thank you to our two U12 girls who came to make up numbers and didn't look out of place at all. Well done.
Portlaw 2-1 Dungarvan Team Sponsor: The Clodagh Bar Dungarvan were the visitors to the paddock this morning in what turned out to be an exciting end-to-end game.
We took the lead on 17 mins when a one-two between Sam Croke and Samuel Deevy set Deevy away and he neatly slotted home the opener.
Dungarvan pushed on in the second half, but our work rate and organisation at the back kept them at bay.
We got the second goal on 80 minutes when Alfie Keane played a great through ball for Jordi to calmly roll past the on-rushing keeper.
Dungarvan scored in injury but we saw out the last few minutes to earn a place in the next round, where we travel to Ballinroad.
Portlaw Utd 4 v 1 Southend Our U14’s were out this morning for their fourth league game of the season in The Paddock.
Considering the amount of rainfall the previous day, the pitch was in perfect condition.
Portlaw got off to a bright start and pressed the Southend defence.
Portlaw took the lead on 15 minutes with Darragh O’Connor beating the keeper with a shot from distance after a pass from Arnau Valdero.
Southend found an equaliser six minutes later, scoring from a corner kick which Portlaw failed to clear.
Gearóid Kinsella put Portlaw back in front, reacting quickest to a Seán Maher shot coming off the inside of the post to finish low past the keeper.
In the second half, Portlaw continued with the good work and defended well. However, on the two occasions that Southend managed to get a shot off, Brian Grant pulled off tremendous saves to keep Portlaw in the lead. Darragh O’Connor extended the lead with a wonderful left-footed shot from outside the box.
Dean O’Driscoll then completed the scoring with a shot from the right-hand side of the Southend box.
A well-deserved three points for the team with a great display from the captain, James O’Regan.
Well done to the whole team on the effort and workrate.
Kate Galvin, Samuel Delaney, Arnau Valdero, Darragh O’Connor, James O’Regan, Sam Walsh, Dean O’Driscoll, Luke Devereux, Gearóid Kinsella, Alex Roche, Seán Maher, Brian Grant, Connor O’Donoghue and Colm Nugent Portlaw Camogie Club.
