It is with great sadness that everyone at Lisduggan Credit Union learned of the passing of our friend and former volunteer, Nat Smyth.
Nat gave several decades of service to LCU in various roles and was a great advocate of the Credit Union Movement.
No matter the task, Nat met it with enthusiasm and positivity.
A regular fixture in the office for many years, Nat loved to chat and impart words of wisdom, gained from his long working career, most notably in Besco.
The Smyth family have been a great supporters of LCU and we extend our sympathies to the family. It was lovely to hear about Nat's life during yesterday's funeral and it was clear that it was a life well lived both at home and in the service of the community. A true gentleman and a "Credit Union Great".
He will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing and working with him. May He Rest in Peace.
