With just six weeks to go, the hardworking voluntary show committee are busy putting the final touches to the organisation of Dungarvan Show, an event which has been running on an annual basis for the last 106 years!
Show Day in Ballygagin is a day when locals and visitors can enjoy a spectacle which brings the rural and urban communities together. The show committee are very grateful to landowners, the Queally, Broderick, Whelan and Shanley families, and their generous sponsors.

On Thursday night, June 4, a table quiz was held in Merry's Bistro bar. A very entertaining night, Stephen Cass, well known proprietor of Cass & Co., acted as quiz master. After the excitement of the quiz those in attendance were entertained by music from Dave McKeon.
Another little taster was a show exhibition in Dungarvan Library, where crafts and paintings, exhibited at previous shows, were on display, as well as photos and reports from shows going back the decades.
