Anti-Social Behaviour

Councillor Jim Griffin has renewed his call for the Council to address concerns surrounding the old Tramore CBS school, following recent incidents of anti-social behaviour in the area. He emphasised the need for urgent action and also requested that Gardaí increase patrols around the site, particularly as Halloween approaches, to prevent further issues.

Local Gardaí have issued a strong warning to the public ahead of Halloween, urging people to be mindful of the most vulnerable in the community, including the elderly, children, and animals. While Halloween can be a fun and festive time, Gardaí stressed that for many, it becomes distressing due to the disruptive behaviour of a small minority. They are appealing to the public to consider the impact of anti-social actions on older individuals, families, and pets during the Halloween period.
