St Paul's Community Notes Quote of the Week

"Now every time I witness a strong person, I want to know what darkness did you conquer in your story? Mountains do not rise without earthquakes."

Karhleen McKennett Mass at Knight's Templars Graveyard

What a wonderful occasion for St Paul's Parish celebrating the many who have been buried here since medieval times.

The oldest grave so far is dated in the fifteen hundreds. So many generations were laid to rest here over the years.

The Mass was very well attended, and the area is a tribute to the hardworking volunteers who maintain the grounds in such pristine conditions.

Why not come and see this historical amenity in our area. Historical tours are available on request.

Ideal for schools, historical groups, and other interested groups, small and large!! What an addition to our area.

Exam Results

Congratulations to all our students on their exam results. Some of you may be delighted to receive enough points to follow the course you have chosen!

Some may be disappointed that even after doing your best, you have not reached your goal. Just remember, you can still follow your dream, and there are lots of opportunities out there and alternative ways of achieving that dream.

Remember that "everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live it's whole life believing it is stupid-" Albert Einstein.

After all, exam scores, while important, are not the whole story. They do not measure your creativity, kindness, resilience, humour, or unique talents that each of you carries.

Each of you has a place where you can thrive naturally.

This is not always a classroom.

For some, it is study and scholarship. For others, it is art, music, sport, dance, leadership or compassion.

No exam grade can measure the fullness of your soul.

May each one of you know you are unique. Your results may open one door, but they will never close the doors intended for you.

What matters most is not your grades but the gifts you bring to life! May you believe in yourself and your ability and know that your true genius is already shining. Wishing each of you all the good fortune in the world.

Bereavement Support Group

The Bereavement Support are coming together after the summer break on Tuesday 2nd September at The Parish Centre in St Paul's.

Do join us for a cuppa and a chat! Remember, you are not alone.

All are very welcome!
