Thanks so much to everyone who supported us in 2025. A little goes a long way towards the running of our little country club. We are very greatful to be supported by the entire community to be able to provide a safe, fun and happy place for all the girls to enjoy playing the sport they love. Thank you to the parents, supporters, coaches and committee members for a fantastic 2025. We look forward to what 2026 can bring and hopefully see some more silverware returning to the village.

Well done Matilda

Well done to Matilda on being selected as part of the U17 Waterford Camogie Panel for the 2026 season. Matilda and her team were hugely successful winning the U16A Shield All-Ireland in 2025. We hope she can add another medal to her collection for 2026.

Portlaw United FC

The U17’s back in action this week at training. Boys born in 2009 wanting to play ball, contact the Facebook page or instagram page. All players are welcome. Portlaw U16’s: Portlaw 2-2 Villa C: A great performance from our U16’s as they came from 2-0 down to secure a point against a very good Villa side. The lads heads didn’t drop after going 2 down with Aidan Walsh scoring a nice volley with 15 minutes to go and then Darragh long-channelled his inner Steven Gerrard with a 30 yard screamer in the last minute of the game to grab a draw for the lads. Portlaw U12’s: Portlaw 2-2 Ferrybank: Another great performance from our under 12’s in cold conditions over in the Paddock. Evan Kiely continued his great scoring form finding the back of the net twice to share the spoils in an end-to-end thriller.
