There was no winner of this week’s lotto jackpot of €4,350.

The Community Text Alert Service is still ongoing and open to any member of the public to join.
Some messages that the group send out include notifications from the Gardaí, Met Eireann and others, which help to keep the community informed.

Kill Action Group is a registered provider for the Senior Alert Scheme, which provides a personal monitored alarm for those aged 65 and over, living alone or with another person who meets the eligibility criteria and residing within the area.
The alarm can be worn as a pendant or on the wrist like a watch, and when pressed a call is sent to a 24-hour monitoring centre.
The equipment is free. However, there is a fee for monitoring the alarm.
A landline, mobile phone or broadband connection is required to install and connect the alarm.

Social Dancing: Last week Marina Kirby & Pat O Driscoll entertained everyone at Wednesday night dancing, the crowd really enjoyed the evening.
Next is Peter Burke (Wednesday, May, 7), a firm favourite with all our dancers!
So, mark Wednesday night dancing 9-11:30pm in your calendar! Complementary tea/coffee and sweet treat. So come and join in the fun!
Last Sunday, Declan Aungier entertained a wonderful crowd at Kill.
The dancefloor was busy all afternoon. Next on the line-up is Andy Feery (Sunday, May 11), who will no doubt entertain and draw a crowd!
Sunday afternoon’s social dancing begins at 3pm and finishes at 6pm.
Kill Community Centre guarantees a great afternoon of good music and refreshments.

Kill Community Centre currently has a vacancy for a CE Participant.
Eligibility to participate in the CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for one year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups.
Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.
The job is 19.5 hours per week and consists of: General Cleaning and Maintenance.

Traditional Irish Fiddle lessons delivered by TTCT-qualified teacher Marie Sheedy starting in mid-October.
Classes on Wednesday evenings will be offered in Kill Community Hall, with group and individual class options available.
Suitable for complete beginners, intermediate and advanced players. Preparation for the SCT traditional music exams can also be covered.

Classes included rebound classes, H.I.I.T sessions and body sculpting. New classes are being added on Wednesday and Friday mornings at 9:30am.
