The Portlaw Musical Society will present, 'Jack & The Beanstalk' in the Premier Hall in February

Portlaw Musical Society

It's nearly Panto Time......... we are pleased to announce our 43rd Pantomime is 'Jack & The Beanstalk'. It will run from Thursday, February 6 until Sunday, February 9, at 8pm nightly with a matinee performance on Sunday at 1pm. Tickets will be on sale in the Community Hall from Thursday, January 30, until Saturday, February 1, from 5pm to 7pm. Phone booking is available from Thursday, January 30, until Saturday, February 1, from 5pm to 7pm and again on Monday and Tuesday, February 3 and 4, from 5pm to 7pm. Portlaw FC

Unfortunately, the game has been postponed and rescheduled until Sunday, February 2. 

Munster Junior Cup - Last 16 

Big weekend ahead when our premier Munster FC team travel to Offaly to take on North Tipp league side Moneygall in the last 16 of the Munster Junior Cup. Last time out the lads had a great win over Castleview from Cork, and the lads have trained hard through the festive period to be ready for Sunday's game. There is a huge prize of a place in the quarter final for the winner. Best of luck to the team from all at the club.

Portlaw Camogie

Ladies circuits training is and will commence on Monday, January 13, from 7pm to 8pm in Portlaw GAA Club Gym. The classes will run for six weeks and the cost of the block will be €48. It is suitable for all abilities, fitness levels and ages. If anyone is interested please contact 086 8104168. 

Minor Team

Brilliant to see so many Portlaw Camogie Club representatives on the minor team and management for 2025. Best of luck to all involved, we're all behind you. The club is delighted to announce we have 10 girls representing Portlaw at intercounty level this year. A special mention to Abbie Burrows, who was named Captain of the Waterford minor team, a great honour and a great achievement. Waterford minor team (U18) - Charlotte Home, Kailyn Croke, Abbie Burrows and Emma Walsh; Waterford U17 team - Ruby Reade; Waterford U16 team - Ríona Shankey, Matilda Walsh and Sarah O’Connor; Waterford U15 team -  Chloe Rochford and Layla O’Regan. Congratulations to all the girls on making their respective panels, we wish you the best of luck throughout the season.
