Local Notes: Local lotto and inshore lifeboat seeking volunteer crew members
The Bonmahon Inshore Lifeboat is now recruiting volunteer lifeboat and shore crew.
There was no winner of the Bunmahon Community Society Lotto jackpot this week so the jackpot will continue to roll over to next week. The lucky numbers drawn were 1, 7, 8 and 32. Congratulations to Billy Crowley and Belinda Kearns who were the lucky dip winners. Next week’s jackpot is €5,700 and the draw will be held in the Engine House, Bunmahon on Friday at 9.15pm. Match 3 winning numbers for your chance to win €80 and lucky dip €40.
The above is now recruiting volunteer lifeboat and shore crew. We operate under the CRBI (Community Rescue Boats Ireland) banner and are trained and administrated by Irish Water Safety. We are also a declared resource to the Irish Coast Guard and are available to respond to emergencies on a 24/7/365 basis. Candidates should be minimum 16 years of age, living within a 10km radius and must be available for training and callouts. No experience is required and full training, kit and support are provided.
