Local lifeboat crew in Bonmahon is looking for new memebrs.
There was no winner of the Bunmahon Community Society Lotto jackpot this week so the jackpot will continue to roll over to next week. The lucky numbers drawn were 2, 3, 23, and 24. Congratulations to Marie Fleming and Nicholas Power who matched 3 numbers and won €40 each. Next week’s jackpot is €3,400 and the draw will be held in the Engine House, Bunmahon on Friday at 9.15pm. Match three winning numbers for your chance to win €80 and lucky dip €40.
Bonmahon Inshore Lifeboat are now recruiting for volunteer lifeboat and shore crew. We operate under the CRBI (Community Rescue Boats Ireland) banner and are trained and administrated by Irish Water Safety. We are also a declared resource to the Irish Coast Guard and are available to respond to emergencies on a 24/7/365 basis. Candidates should be a minimum of 16 years of age, living within a 10km radius and must be available for training and callouts.
