There are a lot of events and activities at Kill Community Centre.

Lotto

There was no winner for this week’s lotto so it rolls over until next week with a jackpot of €2,400. The numbers pulled were 2, 13, 15 and 19. Tom Power and Michael Murray and Kathleen Casey winners of lucky dip winner.

Text Alert

The Community Text Alert Service is still ongoing and open to any member of the public to join. Some messages that the group send out include notifications from the Gardaí, Met Eireann and others which help to keep the community informed. Gealach Gorm Theatre

Next up at the Gealach Gorm Theatre we are delighted to welcome back, The Very Men in Concert, on Sunday, August 25, at 8pm. The highly accomplished and acclaimed musicians: Brian Donovan, John Nugent, Brendan Clancy and Mick McAuley return for another fantastic night of music. All proceeds go to funding cost of Mental Health and Drug Awareness Conversation Seminars at Kill Community Centre.

Kill Community Centre

Last week, Andy Feery entertained a fantastic crowd at Wednesday night dancing. This week, Alistar Fingleton will take to the stage at Kill on Wednesday, August 7, so mark dancing from 9pm to 11.30pm in your diary. Complementary tea, coffee and sweet treat as well so come and join in the fun.

Last week, Checkers entertained a fantastic crowd at the centre and everyone enjoyed the great atmosphere and danced away the afternoon. Next to take to the stage is Dermot Lyons, on August 11. Social dancing begins at 3pm and finishes at 6pm.
