Premier League Result: Bohemians 2-3 Portlaw. A brilliant game of football to open the Calendar football season. We started well and took the lead on 18 minutes when a deflected Alfie Keane shot dropped to Darryl Walsh who slotted home. We were comfortable after that until a crazy 10 minutes before half time when we failed to clear a couple of balls into the box and found ourselves 2-1 down, and but for a great penalty save by Stefan it could have been worse. Second half and we took complete control and peppered the Bohs goal with chance after chance. We got back level with 20 minutes to go, when Jordi knocked a ball into Darren Rocketts path and he smashed in the equaliser. We kept making chances with John Power going close on four occasions and Sam Croke going close with a header. Just when it looked like a draw was on the cards John Power eventually got his reward when he beat a defender and cracked the winner in the bottom corner giving the keeper no chance. Great start to the premier season for us and we now focus on our Munster Cup Quarter Final when we travel to Limerick to take on Pike Rovers.
