Masses in Killea Church this week, Wednesday, July 9: 7.30pm; Friday, July 11: 9.30am; Sunday, July 13: 9.30am. Mass in Carbally Church every Sunday at 11am.
On Wednesday, July 9, the Norwegian Dawn with 2,808 passengers is in Dunmore from 2pm to 9.30pm. The following day, July 10, the Azamara Quest arrives at 8am and leaves at 6pm, it has 698 passengers. Coming up will be a Table Quiz on Thursday, July 17, in Power's Bar, Dunmore at 8.30pm in aid of Community First Responders.
A reminder once again that the 30th Annual Bluegrass Festival in Dunmore is on the weekend of Friday 22nd, Saturday 23rd and Sunday, August 24th. It will feature free gigs at venues such as The Strand Inn, The Spinnaker Bar, Azzurro Restaurant, Powers Bar and The Haven Hotel.
Congratulations to the Gaultier U15 panel of footballers and their mentors, winners of the Division 5 Feile in Derry recently. They had wins over Shannon Gaels Longford in Quarter Final 3-2 to 0-5, Hertfordshire in semi-final 3-9 to 1-1 and Warwickshire in final 1-3 to 1-2. Their victory was celebrated in the Haven Hotel on June 29 in the new Kelly's Room. They were welcomed into the hotel grounds by lots of parents, supporters etc, with music and food and the two All Ireland Senior Quarter finals on TV later.
At the All Ireland Juvenile Championships in Tullamore recently Siofra Moloney, Kilmacomb, competing with Ferrybank AC, won the U14 title clearing 5.14 metres.
