Local Notes: Community lotto and volunteer lifeboat recruitment

There was no winner of the Bunmahon Community Society Lotto jackpot this week, so the jackpot will roll over to next week.
The lucky numbers drawn were 13, 19, 27, and 32.
Congratulations to Brian and Marie, and Belinda Kearns, who were the lucky dip winners.
Next week’s jackpot is €5,650 and will be held in the Engine House, Bunmahon, on Friday at 9:15pm. Match three winning numbers for €80, and lucky dip €40.
They operate under the CRBI (Community Rescue Boats Ireland) banner and are trained and administered by Irish Water Safety.
They are also a declared resource to the Irish Coast Guard and are available to respond to emergencies 24/7/365.
Candidates should be minimum 16 years of age, living within a 10 km radius, and available for training and callouts.
No experience is required; full training, kit, and support are provided.
