The Dunmore East International Bluegrass festival takes place this month
Mass times in Killea this week are Wednesday, August 21 at 7.30pm; Friday, August 23, at 9.30am; Sunday, August 25, at 9.30am. Mass in Carbally Church is celebrated every Sunday at 11am.
From Friday to Sunday next, the annual Bluegrass Festival is in the village and there's a great weekend of music in store for all and enjoy it to the full.

Triathlon At the recent Carriick on Suir Triathlon Ciara Mc Sweeney- Moloney, Kilmacomb finished second in her age group in the event,Ciara was timed at 1 .23.21.She had a 750 metres swim,a 20 km cycle and a 5km run Primary Schools Cross Country The Annual Ferrybank AC promoted Primary Schools Cross Country is at the RSC on Tuesday September 17th at 11 am.Short races for classes 1st to 6th class and children frounity Centre. The next cruise ship of the season arrives on Friday, August 23. The 'Seven Seas Splendour' will arrive at 7am and leave at 6pm. It will have 732 passengers on board. All local residents and businesses please note.
