Mass Times

The mass times in Crooke and Faithlegg Churches this week are: Wednesday, January 29 - Faithlegg (11.30am); Thursday, January 30 - Crooke (10am); Saturday, February 1 - Faithlegg (6.30pm) (Vigil Mass ); Sunday, February 2 - Crooke (11.30am).

Senior Citizens Committee

A final notice that the Senior Citizens Committee is relaunching the senior citizens bonus ball draw, starting on February 1, at a cost of €2 per week. Anyone interested in joining please give their names to either Mary Ray, Rachel Burke, Anita Quinlan or Claire Whelan. Your support will be very much appreciated. Committee members are composed of: Chairperson - Mary Ray; Treasurer - Rachel Burke; Secretary - Anita Quinlan; Ass Secretary - Claire Whelan.

Passage Hurling

On Wednesday last in Castlelyons, in County Cork, De La Salle College exited the Harty Cup at the semi-final stage being beaten by Thurles CBS by 7 points. That was despite closing the gap to one point in the second half. Three Passage players were on the panel: Rory Jacob, Bobby Power and Cathal O'Brien.

Beat the Billy Goat

The second annual Beat the Billy Goat Fundraiser for the juvenile section of Passage Hurling club will be held on Sunday morning, February 16. Passage East Community Centre is where names will be taken from 8.30am and the 5km Wwlk starts from the Passage East Clubhouse in Crooke, at 9.30am followed by the 10km run, at 10am, at the same place. The 5km run will begin at 10.05am, again from the same place. A bus will carry entrants from Passage to the starting point in Crooke. Entries are online at https://my.raceresult.com/322394/
