Lotto There was no winner for this week’s lotto so it rolls over until next week with a jackpot of €1,450. The lucky numbers pulled were 2, 9, 12 and 24. Bernie Roberts and Paddy’s Syndicate were the winners of match three numbers. Congratulations to all the winners!
The Community Text Alert Service is still ongoing and open to any member of the public to join. Some messages that the group send out include notifications from the Gardaí, Met Eireann and others which help to keep the community informed. If you would like to join the text service, please contact Kill Action Group on 086 3772945.
Kill Action Group is a registered provider for the Senior Alert Scheme which provides a personal monitored alarm for those aged 65 and over, living alone or with another person who meets the eligibility criteria and residing within the area. The alarm can be worn as a pendant or on the wrist like a watch and when pressed a call is sent to a 24-hour monitoring centre. The equipment is free however there is a fee for monitoring the alarm.
Either a landline, mobile phone or broadband connection is required to install and connect the alarm. To enquire/avail of this scheme please contact Marie Whelan on 087-2871307 Kill Community Centre.
Last week Checkers entertained all in attendance at Wednesday night dancing. A great evening of dancing and entertainment was enjoyed by all. This week Pat Costello (Wed 27th March) brings his show to Kill. He always draws a crowd so get your dancing shoes ready! Mark Wednesday night dancing 9-11:30pm in your calendar! Complementary tea/coffee and sweet treat so come and join in the fun!
Last week, Dermot Lyons entertained a fantastic crowd at Kill Community Centre. Next up is Andy Feery, who is a firm favourite at Kill (24th March). Social dancing begins at 3pm and finishes at 6pm. Kill Community Centre guarantees a great afternoon of good music and refreshments. So why not put on your dancing shoes and join in the fun!

Making the most of dry weather, our tidy towns group were out in force last Saturday morning. New flowers were planted around village welcome signs, roses were cut back at the walkway to Ceol Na Mara and new heathers were planted. Great mornings work carried out, thanks to all who got involved. We're always happy to welcome new members, feel free to contact us on Facebook.
Traditional Irish Fiddle lessons delivered by TTCT qualified teacher Marie Sheedy starting in mid-October.
Classes on Wednesday evenings will be offered in Kill Community Hall, with group and individual class options available. Suitable for complete beginners, intermediate and advanced players. Michelle from Imagine Fitness has updated her timetable. Classes included ‘rebound classes’, H.I.I.T sessions and body sculpting. More information and class ties can be found on her Facebook page Imagine Fitness. These classes are for all fitness levels and newcomers are very

Bunmahon Community Society Lotto
There was no winner of the Bunmahon Community Society Lotto jackpot this week so the jackpot will continue to roll over to next week - €800. The lucky numbers drawn were 9, 19, 26 and 30. Richie Walsh and Pat Wall were the lucky dips winners, congratulations! Next week’s jackpot is €800 and will be held in Slim’s Bar, Bunmahon on Friday night at 9:15pm. Match 3 winning numbers for your chance to win €80 and lucky dip €40.
