Local Notes: Action packed term in St Mary's

Students from St Mary's Primary School, Dungarvan, enjoying the fine weather and some outdoor activities.
St Mary’s Primary School, Dungarvan, have been enjoying some lovely activities recently. The classes had great fun learning about Irish history through Michael Moylan, Irish History Live. They learned all about the War of Independence and reenacted parts of it while exploring some fabulous artefacts.

Ms. O'Keeffe's 1st Class had a lovely treat recently. They won the attendance award for April and got to go play tennis and have an ice-cream after in the sun.
Also, a number of the pupils represented St. Mary's for Athletics recently, while First Class have been making the most of the sunshine by using our outdoor classroom. Long may it continue!
